The Environmental Protection Agency has deemed PERC a potential carcinogen and hazardous pollutant. PERC can enter the body by breathing polluted air or ingesting contaminated food or water and remains stored in fatty tissue for long periods of time.

Due to the environmental and health risks of PERC, we use the latest advances in hydrocarbon technology. Hydrocarbons are biodegradable when exposed to air or water and have a significantly lower PH level than PERC, making it a safer alternative to traditional dry cleaning chemicals.
